INTRODUCING: BREWER’S SERIES

Campus Brewer’s Series is our celebration of the talented team of creative creatures who grace our production floor. A chance to build a beer from the ground up that expresses their individual personality and the skills and concepts they’re boiling-up on the brew deck.

Josh's beer journey has imparted a fondness for well-balanced sour beer. In developing his concept and subsequently recipe for this release Josh led with an addition of mulberry; a favourite and an affectionate throwback as Josh recalls "mum taking me across the street to pick them from the tree when the season was just right".

Josh considered several dance partners for the tart, spicy and slightly woody flavours of the mulberry; ultimately landing on guava with it's exotic combination of sweet-berry/floral flavour/aroma. A tickle of marshmallow vanilla and a restrained dose of lactose bring it all together; a fruited kettle-sour that is simultaneously desserty and drinkable.

The name and label concept came courtesy of Josh's love for Star Wars; chuckling to himself at the thought of a mulberry-stained Jawa sipping berry juice and yelling utini!
